Week 2

1.I think that the Ukiyo-e prints of our time is  posters and t-shirt designs because nobody really paints anymore they just use computers and technology to do all the work for us.

2. a. The process i am working on is my second carve I've carved the feather and the background of the first print layer that I wanted. I'm about to start working on the circle of the dreamcatcher.
b. The problems that i am having is that everytime i carve i keep cutting my finger somehow.
c. I printed my stamp onto a sheet of white paper and it turned out great besides the fact that is is backwords because i wasn't thinking when i carved it out.
d. I choose a dreamcatcher because I really like the way they look.

Week 1

1. Woodblockk process is for each layer you need to use a different color. Linoleum is when you can carve the color that you want the stamp to be.
2. For the reduction print I carved the background stripped on the linoleum and the feather and for my next carve I will carve out the circle part of the dreamcatcher.
